Dylan Smith from Orange I fish bass in the summer and perch/trout in the winter. I don't discriminate though... If it lives in the water I'll try to catch it! I usually fish traps but just got a vex and jigging sure is addicting! I mostly fish Moore Dam, Groton, and Caspian but I am not a stranger to Greenwood, Woodbury,#10, of course Champlain!

Hello, I am a diehard hardwater fisherman that also fishes openwater as well. I hail from Jackson, a small town in Northeast PA north of Scranton. I fish everywhere from the closeby local ponds to bigger lakes all over NE PA and the southern tier of NY. I am happy to be here !

I live on the other side of the river but , now that I'm retired , I think of the Champlain Isles as my fishing home away from home! The first two weeks of June at Keeler Bay and a couple of January/March weeks at Holiday Harbor in N. Hero. I love jigging for perch/blue gills/crappie but my grandchildren demand tipups for pike Plan to ice fish Carry Bay and Pelots Bay this January. Hope I can come home with lots of fillets for the deep fryer My wife is a serious bird watcher and is sure that ice fishermen are seriously limited She let me know that Santa can't bring me any more fishing gear. So I guess I will be limited to what I have until god says I can't ice fish any more. Vexilar FL8 & FL20 Jiffy 10" Auger (old but motor rebuilt last summer) Mora hand drill 6" with extra blades Nils hand drill 41/2" This is the best hand auger in the world!! 2 pair of wood snow shoes for deep snow and slush Cheap Ameristep two man shelter that works fine for me. half dozen HT Ice Riggers for the new season. right now I'm using them while shore fishing for rainbow trout. Ice fishing without ice thirty year old ice chisel (loaded with lead) 8 ancient but hand made tipups (that's more than I will ever set) 100 ft. of rope that I tie onto my grandson (60 lbs) when I send him out ahead of me (240lbs) to check first ice This year he wants me to go first and says he can pull me out ;D I look forward to visiting the hardwater derbies and hope to meet some of you there Only four weeks to first ice here in the Mts of NH Dick

Screen name eyedoktr, given name Pete Lewis. I live by the shore of Lake Ontario near Rochester,NY.
I have fished almost all of my life. A few years of walleye tournaments, big (Cabela's MWC) and small. Ice fishing for about 50 years but never fished a tournament other than small local ones. Hoping to change that this year.
A proud user of Vexilar products ( 2 FL-8s 1 FL-18 and one FL-22), Nils Master augers, Maki Plastics (Pro Staff), and many other fine products.
I'm looking forward to learning something from you, my fellow ice fishers and hoping I can help you out as well.
