Kept 7 crappie over 12". Caught a few limits worth of 8" crappie. Every time we drilled a new hole we could catch 3-4 small crappie then usually a keeper fish. Good weather until the rain started late afternoon. Best crappie bite was mid day until a guy drove out with his truck (idiot). He asked me why I was shaking my head... The fish disappeared till dark but were hungry and suspended 2 feet below the ice.
