Kept 7 crappie over 12". Caught a few limits worth of 8" crappie. Every time we drilled a new hole we could catch 3-4 small crappie then usually a keeper fish. Good weather until the rain started late afternoon. Best crappie bite was mid day until a guy drove out with his truck (idiot). He asked me why I was shaking my head... The fish disappeared till dark but were hungry and suspended 2 feet below the ice.  |

Morning bite was decent then it was all bass and pickerel until 2. 2-5pm was really good. mid day the pannies were hunkered down in the thickest weeds. had to work really hard for them. at sunset the went back into the weeds again.   |
