well I'd like to make a report so I have something to read when I check the sit 50 times a day. I went to the river yesterday for some crappie fishing, well it was crappie for sure. Left barre and the sun was shining and warm, got to the river and found wind, cloudy skies and 39 degree water temps. Went all the way to the back of the setback and found 40 degree water, thats it, not good. Caught a limit of Giant perch in about an hour. Tried everything I had in my box. The best rig yesterday was a white 1/32 jig head with a maki plastic and a worm, I didn't have any minnow which I think would have a made a difference. Supposed to be 80 degrees down there friday saturday and sunday, planning on getting back in there on sat. If anyone wants to make the trip let me know, and bring me some fatheads!

Bobby, my friend has been fishing roundys all week long hea has been hammering the bass and perch. He also caught his first crappie ever but it was the only one he has gotten I will be there Wendsday.
