Nobody on here chases these slimy things on the hard water? I jig and flag fish for them. They actually do have good meat contrary to popular belief, if you fillet them right. I think God screwed up when he put y-bones in these fish...

We fish everything just panfish more than others and yes pike eat just as good as any fish in the lake.

I fished for pike last year one day. I had a ball! I think that day filled my running quota for the year though....

when i was at school in new york i found fishing for sunnies extremely hard to near impossible so i switched to chasing gators didnt catch many but the i did catch were big including a 14 pounder.

Josh if I can ever make it back up to UVM when it isnt a tournament day we should go try for some northerns like we did that one day. Its been a few years since I set tip ups in alburg for those toothy critters!

snotrockets are my favorite and eat better than any panfish well maybe not perch this year i will post a video on how to get around the ybone and tench GOD did not screw up he just wanted to save them for us if everyone new how to get the why bones out there would be less panfisherman

Sounds like we all should meet up on a weekend that there isnt a tournament or the day after and see what we can pull through the ice.
