Looks like i am finally going to have a couple of days to get out on northern champlain later this week, has any one had much luck lately for sunnies or perch? I'm thinking the fish might be biting a little better with the cooler nights?

I caught a Rock Bass on SUnday , only the one. My favorite shallow-water bays are too shallow to hold fish.

Dylan and I went to the river yesterday, brought home 4 walleye two good ones. Then we went to a nearby lake and snagged a dozen jumbo perch. Water is cooling down and the fish are starting to bite pretty good.

Last 11 trips out been averaging about 40 lbs sunnies/bluegills. Tough to find them; but when you do; it's a ball...
