Lake is really low! About 3-4 feet below normal. What grass beds there were the last time oyu were up are either gone because of the flood/Irene or are so overgrown because of the low water and loads of sunshine that they'll be unfishable. Some good small mouth and perch are around, you might have to search for them some. The cowbanks has been producing small to medium sized white perch all year, and the sandbar was unitl the water level dropped so low. If you have a boat, you might want to try to find you way to outer Mallet's or some of the deeper holes in Niquette's. Good luck!
