Dozen Bass and a Bowfin

Put my canoe in at Highgate to try Mississquoi Bay for bass. That bay is reallly FLAT, couldn't find any structure or good weedbeds, until I spied a log sticking out of the water. Caught a dozen bass and a bowfin around that log !







There weren't any monsters but a dozen bass and a bowfin in 2 hours is still a nice way start a vacation.
