Is it just me, or did the seeds, gills & crappie all get lock jaw in the river/creek mouths? Did they all move back out into deeper water since that nice short summer we had a few weeks back? I'm not having any luck getting them since that front moved thru after the really warm temps.

I haven't had time to get out lately. I hope to get my boat out soon... Quite possibly today. I can't wait to see what this summer turns into with no spring run off and no rain to speak of yet. I'll post some pictures up from how low the water was on Moore Dam the other day when I can get on my computer.

It's crazy how far the water was down still. They usually start in January with the draw down in preparation for the spring run off. Normally it isn't an issue with the water level coming back up but it may take some time for it to come up to its normal level. Some nice looking spawning habitat for bass there! If you look at the first pic, on the water line, there are all sorts of submerged ax cut stumps from back in the day.
