Here's a spring bobber that you can make in about 10 minutes. I started with some 20lb Berkley Coated Leader wire. Cut off about 8 inches, bring the two ends together and slide on a leader-crimp sleeve . Slide the sleeve up until you have a small loop at the end and crimp it shut with your pliers. Now you should have a small loop with two long tails, tie it onto the end of your favorite jigging stick with some fine thread (tike tying hackle onto a fly ) and finish with some nail polish. It should look like this. The 20lb Berkley leader material is perfect for a spring bobber for my lighter jigs gofish

Great idea Dave. Much cheaper than the other options available. I will have to give this a shot soon.
