My brothers and I decided to go to head south for the Daytona 500. While down in Florida we had the chance to take a boat on lake Toho for a day. The fishing wasn't what we expected but we did get a few fish. Here are a few pictures. Lake Toho Crappie Lake Toho Crappie Shell-cracker Were hoping to make it out for some surf fishing after the race. Ill post more pictures if we do.

Yeah the fish have great color. Tried surf fishing at two locations. The first at an inlet off a jetty. While walking off the jetty I learned how much damage barnacles can do. The next day we tried our hand at fishing of a pier. Did manage to get one so we didn't get skunked. We also got to see one of the craziest races ever. Left the track at 1 am! We were only a few hundred yards from the fire so we had a good view of everything. Now its back to good old VT for our last tournament.
