Looking back at my photos of deer or turkeys over the years, I often come across photos I feel I wish put more thought into. Like deer in the bed of my truck, hanging on the meat pole or in the yard with trucks/cars in the background. A few years ago I came across a cool gadget (at the Yaknee Sporstamn Classic) that I actually now never leave home without when heading out into the woods. Well I try not to but some times I forget not just the gadget but the camera too. The older I get the more "brain farts" I keep having It’s called the “Clip-Shot” and the advantages of using it or something like it are awesome. Not only do you get wonderful field photos taken it its natural setting but it really helps in remembering the hunt. A lot of my turkey photos I’ve got to look at for a while until I can remember when and where it was taken. Here are a few photos all taken using the Clip-Shot. Also I'll add in a photo of me holding it so you can see how big it is and see how easy it could fit in your camera case. I hope you can over look the ugly guy in the photos I personally feel taking my photos this way really it gives the deer/turkey, the hunt and the photo a lot more meaning.
