At least for now These are both the same photo. I just blew the one up and inserted it so you can see the double beards better. The day I took this he was getting harassed hard by the non strutter where yesterday, they both stayed clear of him and just followed him around feeding. Last year I was chasing him but lucky for him, he eluded the end of my turkey thumper. Plus I had no will power to hold off on another great gobbler that I called in Well after seeing he wasn't Ole Two Beards I let him walk at 20 yards but really regretted doing it. Even though he wasn't Ole Two Beards, he still was a very good gobbler so I called him back and gave him a MKMGOBL style dirt nap ;D I won money with him for the spurs and weight division in a local contest. Anyways, this year I hope Ole Two Beards luck runs out and either Jake (my son) or I can see him with a Williams Fire Sight bead for a head decoration

Nice birds. My friend in Connecticut hunts an area where multiple beards are in the genes; both he and his kids have been taking them quite regularly. Last year, I believe it was, his son took his first ever bird. Twenty plus pounds, twin ELEVEN INCH BEARDS! Can you imagine that bird as your first one? Where does he go from there?
