Well we're in the thick of the ice season. We have been up to our usual, trying to find fish in new places. Had some success earlier with some new crappie spots. Been fishing all the touneys, great times! What have the rest of you been up to? Heard a little about Carmi but not much, and thats about it?. . . . .Scott Jamie Dylan and Myself are going to Crown Point on Saturday to help out with their kids clinic, that 'll be a nice change of pace, then we're back at it again checking some new spots on the river sunday. Lets hear whats going on guys!!!!!

I'll probably try the north end of Carmi, haven't been able to catch much on the south end for the past couple weeks. One thing for sure, I won't be fighting the crowds in the Islands Derby...to many people on the ice.

Thinking about fishing a tournament on Fairlee with the kids, but might go to the river or Morey. Fairlee gets packed quick so were going to just play it by ear and see what happens.

I wish somebody would get on those fish at morey, i think we're overlooking them, Andy if you go there, don't be afraid to look for the gills in 15-22fow, you should know where the deep weed beds are there, I imagine they are holding in that depth.

I guess im going to let the kids pick the spot. Morey would be nice if I could find active fish. But thats a hard lake to fish with a hand auger, but I can get the kids to cut a hole or two and try and track down some fish.

This is what I did today.... North end of Carmi. As I was walking off, talked to a pike fisherman, he said the place to catch perch was the south end near the Island. I normally fish the south end but the Island is a long walk from the State Park access. gofish
