Hey guys I was wondering if anybody has any tips for ice fishing salmon? I was thinking of going in a couple of weeks. I have the stuff I need to go, but I don't how. What depth? What bait? Any other info that I might need?

I've used small shiners set acouple foot under the ice. Emeralds worked real good when we could get them .Not sure if their legal any more. As far as tackle I'd go with as light a leader as you dare with # 6 or 8 hook. That was my set up, its been years since I've tried to cath em.

right under the ice. I would vary from 1 to 5-6 foot down. Hope this gets ya headed in the right direction. Good luck

I have been as far down a 10 foot below the surface , You have to make sure you have clear line for the leader , and if it was me I would go to the Cow banks right across from apple tree bay Campground the Marina side

The guys normally fish all over there from just beyond the 1st point all the way out around the Point . You will see where people setup ...
