Cold weather can make you smarter

Fished Carmi today. Normally i have 4-5 favorite jigs for Carmi, if the fish don't hit them I move to another hole and try again. Today was too cold for moving around outside my shanty so I started experimenting with lots of different jigs. Things really picked up when I sent down a Chartreuse Rat Finkee . Ended up with a couple dozen nice perch, including two that were 13 inches.

Thats why fishing is so addicting, there is so much science behind it, so much to learn, great post !
