Fishing with spikes was slow so put a Maki on a chart/white demon and things really picked up ! Fish were much more agressive .
Now I want some more Maki's .... I visited their website and browsed the shapes and found the one I used is called a 'Maki', must be one of the first designs. Any suggestions for shapes/colors that work for Sunnies or those fat Carmi Perch .
Can I buy Maki palstics locally , or only online ?

I have a bunch for sale and will be at dillenbech Friday and Saturday maki has a booth at the sportsman classic the next weekend and that would be a great place to get them.

I'll try to skip out of work a little early Friday and meet you at Dillenbech . If not, I'll plan to find you on Saturday ....I won't be fishing the tournament but will stop by later in the day to buy some Maki's. gofish |

I tried plastics the other day when the bite turned off and had the same result. I was using a pink powerbait atomic fry and the sunnies just hammered the thing. Went out and bought more. Gonna have to pick up some of the makis.

A maki plastic will win on saturday. I will second that bet, but it won't be on a Jamie or a Maki........the fish will be tired of seeing those 2 baits......go with a Milli ....  |

I didn't know you could catch fish without a maki plastic! I use them all day everyday
