It's looking pretty good for the weekend. I think Dylan is out right now on decent ice. This past weekend one of my favorite spots had an inch so i'm hoping to get on it this weekend. Anyone else have some tentative plans for the weekend and next week. Happy Holidays!

I just got back from fishing this am started getting a little sketchy about noon. I'm fishing a mountain pond with approx 3-4 inches so far small perch and gills but man it feels good to be out.... I have checked all lakes and ponds within a 50 mile radius of me and they all need a few more cold nights to be safe!!!! Seems to be a average of 2-3 inches on most Please be safe!!!

Got on today. Fished on 3.5" till around 1. Ice was solid when i left. Only caught pickerel though. We pounded gills there last year so it was a let down. Left and fished a setback on the winooski. Lots of fish. Decent perch and sunnies. Lots of small bass. Got pictures and videos I'll put up later.

I'm jealous of the fishing. I'm heading home for xmas. I've fished Chaumont Bay for Perch and Eyes before and after xmas as long as I can remember..not this year. Likely hit the Salmon River and drift for some steelies instead.
I've got Monday off so I may be back in VT to fish here or possibly a Crappie pond in the 'dacks on my way home. Be safe everybody!!
