Not my chubby body! I won't feel safe until I have at least 4". The ice is now at less than 3" although it sure is nice and clear. 4 - 5" inches of clear ice and I will never drive my truck on the ice. I've waited nine months so another week won't kill me Dick

The rain didn't seem to effect the ice on the pond and its only 1 degree here this morning. I think I'm going to auger some holes and fish on Tuesday I've never fished for rainbow trout through the ice. It should be good experience. I guess small shiners, and power bait?? Dick
