Well the first 4 days have been hot! and i'm not talking about the hunting, with the hot weather the deer and their winter coats are not moving in my area. Have seen some nice vermont deer killed this year. How is everybody else doing?

Spent more time in the woods than I ever have and so far nothing. A bunch of doe running around so its only a matter of time I hope. My friend Ian got this Saturday morning 100 yards into the first drive: 152 lb female. It was the first bear he has ever seen in the woods. Its an old bear judging by the amount its teeth have been worn down, but we wont know for sure until he gets the results back in the spring from VT fish and wildlife

That is big for a female bear. Most sows dont get much beyond that .Congrts to your buddy.
