Took Andy to the river for a quick trip for some Walleyes on Sunday. Hit the water at about 7 and headed to my first spot of rip rap. The current was moving a bit faster than I wanted it to. Nothing at the first spot, no marks on the graph. Fished a little bay across from that spot in hope of finding some crappie, Andy hooked into this nice LM
Second spot proved to be much more productive with some strategic boat placement. Andy caught a lot more fish than I did, but then again the host should always let the guest catch more fish. Ended up boating 7 Eyes in 4 hours, not too bad considering the conditions. Green and Chartreuse jig head with a crawler seemed to do the trick. We were fishing 11-17 fow with structure.
Kept these 3 for lunch. Andy also landed this Giant Smallie.
