Champlain 'eyes have had the feed bags heavy this August. Drifting green mountain grabbers during the day and pulling baits at night have been working well. Whether it be on my boat or aboard another, seeing fish every trip has been great. Most have been in the 5-6 pound class but a few 7-8+ coming out. Last week they liked blue/silver and gold/red or black. Last night they liked lime green. Fishing skinny water close to edges. One from last week. Two from last night. Got a late start. We did one each on our first pass,3 passes later we bagged it in. I don't think anybody I've jumped in with is on this forum but if you are, thanks for the clinics!
