Well the construction crew I oversee at night canceled because of rain so I figured it was as good of day as any to get out on the water. Launched the boat at 4:15 and got some nice largemouth on a spinnerbait and straight tailed worm right of the bat. As it got a little lighter out I hooked into this with the worm:
21.5 in 5.4 lbs. My personal best Smallmouth. Thank god the self timer on the camera worked so I could get a few pictures before the release.
Ended up with 10+ largemouth, one smallmouth, and some pickerel.
