DATILLIOS DERBY is cancelled bc of high water. I'm really bummed about that,awesome derby with great prizes and awards...depressing.
Also heard that the ROTARY DERBY is going to follow suit and cancel bc of high water as well,again,depressing.
On a happier note,there is a walleye derby at Lake Carmi this week end. Anybody fishing it?
Anybody registered for the All Seasons?
I'm surprised there isn't an opening weekend Walleye derby on Lake Champlain...

Datillios is planning to reschedule their derby for the week end between the Rotary and the LCI fathers day, which is the 11th and 12th of June. They said to keep checking in as it gets closer to confirm the date.
Anybody planning to fish this one? If so,what's your target species?

Also,saw on another forum the Rotary is still on...that's a fun derby. Depending on how hard you want to fish it can be an exhausting 3 days of fishing...good stuff and good pay out if you place!

I think scott was thinking getting something going to go along with the hardwater series. IE walleyes and crappie throughout the summer. I think it would be great to have something like this to help promote our sport. I am more than happy to help in any way Scott. |
