All the lakes in fl are less than eight feet deep. Fished today on lake toho, no crappie, they have scattered, the water temp is 75 and the only structure in the lake was ell grass. Caught some big gills on crickets, be back on champlain on thursday.

i have seen some gills from florida when i went..they are absoulte giants. and i have seen a ten pound bass there in the little pond right outside the hotel. we were feeding it bread SLICES! too bad you didnt get the crappie though that would have been sweet. and did i read crickets??
