Took a ride with the puppy dog on Saturday and checked some spots. Started at Charcoal around 7:30. There were 4 guys there when I got there. Stayed for about 2 hours, only fish being caught were dink perch. When I left there was maybe a dozen rigs parked. From there headed over to Mud creek, nothing going on there. Next was the culvert at Carey bay, lost a nice crappie, she broke my jig of 4 feet from shore, only bite I got there in an hour. I did notice that the marsh just above the bay is open and worth trying. Last stop was the north side of the sandbar culvert. Got into some perch there. Saw 4 Salmon rise right when I got there, seemed liked the bite got better as the day warmed up. Probably going to hit up charcoal Wednesday Evening. Florida Crappie in 6 days!
