Hi folks,
Gonna try and get out to larrabees one day this week and get a bit of knowlegde of the area. I've never fished there and dont have a clue as to which direction start. I did get down there and found the place so at least one hurdle is cleared. Not asking for gps coordinates, just a left or right, shallow or deep type info. Thanks,

Dan go left (south) off the launch there should be a road or path by now stay on the Vermont side of the path and I like to go about 1/2 way to the other end of the bay to start.I will be there this week Thursday I think.

Scott I think Jason wants to head down also ,on Thursday so that would be 3 of us ? Is there any one we can get a hold of to see if I could get my Wheeler out there  ?? |

Hi All..been a bit..will fill you in best I can..Ricky & Brian fished on Saturday..(I took the day off) caught pail of Gills & Seeds a few bass to tease and no Crappies..so we know we are in right area but they just don't seem to be moving much yet..anyone going down DO NOT I repeat DO NOT WALK on the trail stay on either side of it (shore side better) they watched yet another 4 wheeler get stuck..remember it is layered like parafait down there...ICE..SLUSH...ICE...SLUSH.. you get the idea..anyway back to the ice again tomorrow ..anyone hear anything on Dillenbech? We have been going south since before the storms so we are kind of out of touch..Ice conditions? What is being caught? Are the crappie in yet...Ricky says it's been so long since we have seen ANY of the BLUE BOYS that we might have taken a wrong turn on our way and might not even be in the right state ...lol ..see you on the ice..

Was able to get out there today from about 8-12, was friggen cold! any how, found a few fish mostly smaller gills got broke off twice by what were probly bass. Ice conditions were awesome , hard as a bullet. with the coming warmup i hope it lasts.

ok so i went out today, fished for 3 hrs. and got 20 perch and 1 nice crappie within 150 yards of the launch. as for the ice conditions, they are great! bring your creepers!!!!! all the snow is gone. a little bit of water on top should freeze with the falling temps. 11" of good ice with 8- 10" of frozen snow pack on top of that. i would recomend power augers! parking for next weekend is DEFINATLY going to be an issue. 20 trucks there today and not much room for many more. any questions give me a shout.  |

Nice that was a nice report , Sorry I did not get down there went North instead, Did not to well . But Going to try for some of those toothy Critters tomorrow with my Girls ;D
