I rigged one of my rods with a rocker on bottom and a bare hook with a couple spikes about a foot above the rocker. Caught a crappie on the spikes and quite a few bluegill too. I could watch them on the flasher, they'd swim right by the rocker and hit the spikes. I changed colors on the rocker, same thing again. Just thought I'd share.

because Carry slowed down.I saw you when I was on my way home you were 100 yards from the spot we fished.Sandbar
tomorrow and calm cove to try something new.

We went to Carry about noon and it was slow
I did a few crappies and so did Charlie & Justin.
The fish are there but not to active.

That's what I found yesterday, could see them on the flasher but couldn't get them to bite. I finally got clever and downsized to a size 14 Purist and caught a couple nice bluegill. That Purist is so light it never really straightened the line out. Had to watch the line, and set the hook when the line went tight.

PS: I didn't fish today, probably not tomorrow either ,,,been clearing out my late father's house . He died in early December

Yessir! I went without it today and outfished myself. I won't be using it unless I'm in deeper water.Doesn't hurt fishing with Scott and Charlie either.
Watch out guys-im on point now haha.
