How did the derby for you? looking for some feedback so post it here. I had a good time the crappies were hard to find. I didn't get one till the derby was over and then I did real good I went home with 16 and one was over 2lbs (2.11) Charlie had 11 and Myles had 10 not bad for the extra 3hrs. we also pulled a 7gal pail of gills.

My first fishing tournament, I had fun. Had one crappie in the hole but lost him before I could get him through. I agree with the other post, about defective sunnies. they were awfully short.....
A good experience, got to fish in a bay that I never would have visited otherwise.
I hope to get to Dillen sometime this weekend, I'll figure out those Crappies yet.

Where is Paquete Bay anyway? That's the 'local' name. If you look on a map, it's called Macomb Bay. In the passage between N. Hero and Alburg. I spent weeks figuring that out a couple years ago.... gofish

I had a good time, wish I wouldn't have had a faster learning curve but all in all it was worth it to fish with all of you and have the experience, lets do another!
