last trip for the season - Carmi

Went back to carmi for my last outing for the season. There's a lot of ice and people are still driving on, so no worries about thickness today. Went back to my favorite spot, found fish on the flasher , but they would only swim up and take a sniff . Started working thru the jigbox, bright colors, shiny ,vertical , horizontal, finally found they wanted something that looked like real food, Marmish Larva in dull orange/black . Ended up with 30 fish in 10 -13" range with several running near a pound.

Time to wash the ice-fishing suit.

Except for the fact that I couldn't find any sunnies, maybe caught 30 all winter. Ah well, spring is on the way and I now have a new motor for my boat.....so watchout fish !
