If Im in the woods, my favorite is my Marlin Lever action 30/30 if Im sitting fields its my 303 British..I wish I had my 308 still, kick my self for selling it....

I gotta go with my trusty ol' Mossberg 500-A 12ga. w/fully rifled and un-scoped 18'' barrel. The gun best matches the terrain and cover we have on our farmlands. Shooting 3'' slugs is much easier with a recoil absorbing stock while the open sights allow for a much quicker target aquisition thanks to my still adequate visual accuity.
I'm using Remington premier COPPER SOLID 1oz. hollow point magnum sabot slug. This combination sure seems to work for me.
