Hit the water around 7ish. Tried a couple go to Huskys with no takers. Threw a purple storm,same story. Then got these two on a J11 fire tiger. First fish hit around 9:10 and the second fish came at 10:20. I left the water shortly after 11.
It was a very nice night to be outside. I debated keeping these fish but decided to in the end. I've only kept 4 this year and its been awhile since I had some fillets so what the heck.
In my experience this time of the year, the slower the presentation the better. After doing a slow retrieve almost all night I sped it up and thats when the second fish hit. Not sure what to make of that.
Planning to make another run tomorrow night. So both a slow and fast retrieve worked, J11 firetiger.
