howdid the new clam flyreel look ? IMO, the new CLam Flyreel is a great addition to the Clam family...very lightweight, and the raised foot for fitting your fingers around the rod handle makes this a very nice unit....I bought one up there from Thorne Bros. and put it on one of my custom rods that I had at the show.....I also got to try 13 Fishing's Black Betty....a little heavier, and with the unidirectional drag...not sure I would like it on the ice....but without actually trying one in a real fishing situation, I cannot say good or bad...

From all of the pictures and texts, it looked like an amazing show, with tons of new fishing gadgets and lots of interesting seminars!
