Went to Mallette's Creek yesterday and notice several Pumpkinseeds dying on the surface of the water. Water temperature was 53 degrees, and water was very dirty. Does anyone know what's happening?

I saw a bunch of dead fish up in the islands the yesterday as well. Quick changes in water temp can have adverse effects on fish. Some fish die easily from stress but I though seeds were usually fairly hardy. They could also be wasted bycatch. If I hear anything I will post.

I haven't seen any die off to speak of but have noticed the water quality(clarity, algae) being less than ideal. just another twist to this bizarre winter/ spring I guess.
