From Champlain Bridge,(Crown Point) to Ti mill open water, the bowl by the mill iced up(bad ice) no access, south of that open to as far as I could see south from Larabees past Mt Independence and East Creek mouth, open water, can launch there now, Lapams open in a few days still some broken up shore ice and a bit in the set back by the ramp. I'm sure with the south winds and warm weather Singing Ceders will be open too, OH BOY deep water crappies!!!!! I'll do a check there tomorrow. Still a few larger chunks floating around in places, but not many.Depending on winds and weather I'll have my boat out next week at the latest, maybe Sunday??? Perfect time of the year for the fish, I just won't have to drill any holes to find them now Sweeeeettttt!! Damn, from hard water to soft water all in one week, WTF??? That was quick, OK with me though, if it's got to be,I'd rather have it like that so you can get the boats out quicker without having to wait for 3 weeks for the shitty ice to get gone.
