Not sure if this has been brought up or not, I couldn't find it, but does anyone know what the karma means on here?

Ok so I guess there I should use my Google abilities right? I checked out "karma on proboards" and I got my answer.
"What exactly is the Karma Feature?
The Karma feature is simply a point system. Exalt means +1 point, Smite means - 1 pt.
Who can 'vote' Karma on members?
Any Registered member can 'vote' plus or minus one Karma point once per hour."
