Had a great weekend on Carmi over 50 walleyes in two days and a mess of jumbo perch. I kept my limit for a fish fry.

What's the bait/technique for Carmi Walleye ? I know you bump crawlers along the bottom for River walleye, but never fished them in a lake in the spring .
I could be talked into taking the canoe to Carmi if the wind dies down by then.

Going to Carmi Saturday,hopefully the weather holds off and doesn't get too nasty. I just purchased a 16 foot aluminum side counsel and I'm itching to get it in the water.
We will likely just drift around bouncing bottom but I hope to troll a little bit too.
