Fished with my ol man at Keelers today and whacked em pretty hard. Started fishing off the bank by the culvert and picked up a few gills and one carp in the 15 lb range, quite a show with a five ft ultralite setup, damn thing ended up straightening the jig out just as I got it to shore. We put the boat in and did some exploring with not much action until I hooked a largemouth that at first didnt seem as big as it was, it had to have been 6lbs plus. Good day to leave the camera at the truck right? By far the biggest bass I've ever caught, got one this past winter at larrabees thru the ice that was around five (Bobby took a pic for me that day on a disposable).Any how we moved into the woods and really put the slap on the gills and seeds. Ended up with 100 lbs. Get after em fellas this action aint gonna last forever.

thanks fellas, cant get back there till sunday afternoon ,and with all those fish around its friggen killin me! Mill river in st albans bay is full of fish as well. Guys are goin in with waders to get to em and from what I've heard are catching a ton. Bass, sunnies ,few crappie. Parking is an issue at mill river, the parking lot holds 8 at best and if someone parks a bit crooked less. People have been getting tickets for parking along side the road. just a headsup. Goodluck with em
