With our Champlain trip canceled we decided to give Drew's a chance, and it was well worth our time. Ended the day with three crappie, 30-40 gils/seed, and a few perch. All fish were caught on ice jigs under a bobber tipped with worms. The crappie were short with the biggest being 8-inches. The fish were held up in trees along the bank. All fish were released to be caught another day.

There were some big perch today just below the Union Village Dam Recreational Area in Thetford. They were in the flooded trees. Worth a shot if you got waders and good balance for the moving water!

I would have never though they would push that far up the river. Might have to give it a try some time. What were you getting them on if you dont mind me asking?
