Saturday morning I met up with Bobby. The pike bite seemed to be on this week end.got this one on my first cast Saturday morning,I looked out and my bobber was right under..a few minutes later and a quick pic,released.3# test.


Trolled for a few hours on Sunday,caught and released about a half dozen pike,no salmon but I did see two caught Saturday,hoth were about 3-4 pounds.

Earlier in the week we got some Crappie right before dark..


Only got 3,released them.

Sunday it seemed like a pike blood bath...saw a guy leaving as I showed up. I saw the fish tales hanging out of his bucket and asked how the bite was,he looked at me and said - "the pike are insane right now" as he rushed by me and hurried back to his truck. The guy had 2 really fat pike and a cookie cutter salmon.Got to the spot and watched 2 more really fat pike get ripped in a matter of minutes, it was entertaining.

Wanting to get some fishing in before we get dumped on with 8 days of rain Kristen and I ventured back up north. Kristen got her first salmon! It was pretty cool...


we got 1 Crappie pretty much at dark,let it go. I was hoping to get into them but I cant catch more than a handful at a time.


the pike,salmon,and Crappie have all been caught on Fatheads approximately 27 inches below a bobber.

Maybe once all the pike get out of town the Crappie will start to fire up..

Very nice update. Good pics. The pike are hot up in North hero as well
