Fished the river both Saturday and Sunday. Hinsdale for a few hours Saturday with nothing but some small crappie (5-7"). Springfield Sunday was a little better with some nice gils, giant perch, and a few crappie. Will try and post a picture or two after I get them all cleaned up. Also got to watch a coyote run from hole to hole looking for any left over bait at dusk until it noticed me and took off across the ice.

Very Nice Good catch , atleast there is something biting . Have not heard Much on Poquettes , Carry Bay , or Dillenbach , Just the Snow I'm sure

too bad you weren't at springfield on sat, the fishing was the best it has been all year for consistant quality fish. Got all next week off.

It was a good day on the river. we all had pretty close to a limit of both crapppie and jumbos. Ill be back tomorrow ;D
