Seems the fish are not bitting in the northern end of the lake, have tried dillenbeck, missisqoui bay, and near isle lamotte, and havent caught much, in the last few days. The white and yellow perch were bitting in the isle lamotte passage last week, but after the ice thickened and snow came, they seemed to scatter. Going to try for some bluegills and sunnies tomorrow, as it is supposed to be nice out.

I'm thinking about trying for some pike and eyes out there...thoughts? I've heard people catch eyes jigging perch around isle la motte too.

Nikki had her first day on the ice and it could not have been any nicer. It was mild and the fish at least tried to cooperate .A little slow maybe 1/2 pail but some good eaters they will be on the dinner table tonight. I'm glad she had fun. I let her use my vex, boy that was tough to give up good thing she is special or it would not have happened
