It will be an individual event and the species will be Crappies and Bluegills/Sunnies. 3 of each. prizes for overall heaviest combined weight. There will also be a prize for heaviest fish (contestants must have their big fish marked with a jig in the lip before coming up to weigh in)
All fish have to be in a bucket with water. No frozen or discolored fish will be accepted.
This event will see a 80% payout of all registration fees. 10% will go to running costs and 10% will be donated
The boundaries will be from point to point in Dillenbech bay Everyone must check in before the start of the event and start from the designated launch point.
Buckets and sleds will be checked to insure everybody plays fair anyone caught breaking the rules will be DQ with no return of entry fee
The use of ATVS, snow machines will be at the discretion of the tournament directors. In the event that ice conditions will not support these vehicles, it will then become a walk out event.
Start time is 6:30am. End time is 3:00pm. The field will be cut loose from the launch at 6:00 am and competitors can drill their holes but cannot put a line in the water until 6:30am. This will be an honor system. Again in the event of unsafe ice we may impose boundaries and have observers.
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. There will be an event no matter what as long as there is safe ice.
