OK this is what I'm thinking. Sat. January 22nd Dillenbech $30.00 entry Sat.February 26th Larrabees $30.00 entry Sat. March 5th Dillenbech $30.00 entry
3 gills/sunnies and 3 crappies like before for the first 2 and I was thinking about changing it up a bit for the last one and doing a winner take all or something like that so I need input and I need to set it up very soon so I can get the permits. So I'm open to your ideas and hope to have some good turnouts and good times.

I think the last 2 are too close in dates...maybe start jan 22 then have feb 19 just to give another week before the march 5 date. ...if possible of course. I would definitely attend and very possibly bring in another guy or 2 from here.
I do like the idea of the winner take all but $50 seems a bit steep to me if you want to draw people to compete for one place. Maybe make the other 2 tourneys $40-$50 and the last one $30?
Also is there a prize for the single heaviest fish in each category? That is always good, as someone who hardly places at all can take home some cash is they land just one slammer fish.
Overall I am excited to be able to fish it this year and will help in any way I can when time permits.

Scott,
I like the idea of back to back wkends at Dillenbeck because of the competition it might set up. Makes its more interesting, would the start and finish times be the same for the last 2?
The only drawback for me would be paying to back to back entry fees, but then again I can use the prize money to enter the next wkend. Haha I know.
I also like the idea of winner take all...biggest fish pool for those who want to enter like last year would be good.
Just my two pennies.

i think the entry fee is to steep on the last one and i am not going to place but i think 1 winner is a bad idea i feel you will cut the amount of entries alot because the weekend warriors are going to feel that they are only making a donation a derby like that 1 person takes all IMO should be an invitational like a club tourney in a bass club IMO 3 places and the big fish should be a minimum remember you want alot of people in this so appeal to all not just the ones that are going to hold there own the more that get involved the faster it will grow draw the interest first Scott let me know i will help you again give me a little notice and i will try to find some prizes

so far people don't like the winner take all so its gone. I know back to back weekends are hard for some but the Ice starts getting bad in March so I don't want to push it.The last one will be like a championship and we will pay out the prizes like last year. Example 50 % 30 % 20 % something like that but there will be 80% of all money paid back to the winners.

Since you're going to have 3 why don't we come up with some kind of points system, if the third one is going to be a "championchip"?

that would mean everyone would have to be in all 3 to win and they might have to work or something example if i dont fish the 2nd one and cannot win because of a lack of point at the 3rd why put my money into it but i like the thought of it maybe a two day event with total points for 2 days

Ah,a 2 day back to back...that sounds challenging. Total 2 day combined weight?
