the ice is getting a little shitty out there a car went through in mallets bay and then his clever friend decided to help him out and drove his 3/4 ton pickup out with a plow on it that he had owned for three days as the story was told . If anyone needs to be reminded if a CAR goes through it is not a good idea to go get it with a heavier vehicle just saying

Lots of places going bad especially along shore where vehicles have gone on. Yesterday I understand a couple of wheelers broke through near shore and at least 2 people one of which I know fell through about 150 yds out from shore at the Sandbar. Fortunately all ended up Ok. Today I was at Pauquettes and saw a wheeler go though on the south end of the bay. Another wheeler was able to winch him out and I understand a truck broke through at Dillenback just off the launch. Time to walk on and check with a spud bar.

ice conditions have deterioted very quickly, and with the warm temps coming this week conditions will be very spring like. i have noticed that ice thickness varies in short distances and safe ice can not be taken for granted as in years past.

Hey All,
I was at Dillenbech today and there was 3 trucks that went through at the boat launch so please be safe. Ice was good once you got on but the launch is in bad shape real bad.
